Archipelago supports venture capital investment into Circular Economy technology solutions looking to scale. It is designed to support innovation and a transition from pilot phase to growth.
We support investment for impact and financial returns, enabling our investors with access to a portfolio of outputs and technologies addressing different types of plastics, recycling approaches, scales and displacement methods within circular supply chains.
Our investments will be linked to:
New and novel recycling processes and technologies, from mechanical to chemical, with a focus on those hard-to-recycle plastics and barrier removal
Smart, scalable solutions to increase and improve collection, sorting, identification and separation of plastic waste, including AI focused solutions
Efficiencies along supply chains, extracting more value from existing waste streams
Scalable rollout of sales/licensing models that seek out low barriers to adoption and scaling
Rollout of process and behaviour change technologies and solutions, such as return & reuse, deposit return schemes and SaaS
